As a blogger, I maintain several blogs and websites such as World of Fail and Review Chicago. In addition to these websites, I guest post on numerous blogs, and currently write content for six other blogs. Man Vs Blog is my outlet for discussing things of interest, including tips on blogging and social media.

As a musician, I have toured the country in the rock band The Translation. Before The Translation, I was in another successful band called Saraphine. I spent 8 years honing my skill as a songwriter, and learned a great deal in grassroots marketing. I am currently recording my solo debut record.

Update Your Blog From Your Phone

Quick Blog Tip: If you have a java browser installed on your cell phone, you can install Opera Mini browser and update your blog just like you were on your computer. There are a few limitations but in a pinch it works. That is how I am posting this tip.

It is such a hassle to type using a phone though! The message you just typed must have took you 10 mins!

Well, as I said, It would only work in a pinch haha. One drawback is you have a character limit. Typing on the T Mobile Dash (which is what I used) it simple. So I think on my days off from blogging I am going to post Daily Blog Tips. We’ll see if people care or not :)

Hi Scott - that is useful. But it would probably take me forever to do. Can you also respond to comments via the phone?

I am waiting for an app that interfaces with blogger for the iPhone. I just picked one up the other day and I love it.

Good tip though, it comes in handy for quick tidbits!

Yeah, basically the Opera mini-browser replicates a fully rendered page on the phone. You zoom in to a location and it is just as functional as a regular browser.

So I can respond to comments, do anything. Even check my adsense.

The problem is, as stated, it takes FOREVER to do it if you are a slow typer. haha
