As a blogger, I maintain several blogs and websites such as World of Fail and Review Chicago. In addition to these websites, I guest post on numerous blogs, and currently write content for six other blogs. Man Vs Blog is my outlet for discussing things of interest, including tips on blogging and social media.

As a musician, I have toured the country in the rock band The Translation. Before The Translation, I was in another successful band called Saraphine. I spent 8 years honing my skill as a songwriter, and learned a great deal in grassroots marketing. I am currently recording my solo debut record.

Twitter, Guest Posting, and The Future

I haven’t been as active on this blog as previously, and part of that was due to the Twitter experimentation I was doing. Now that I have concluded that for the time being, I am going to be resuming my normal posting pattern of 5 times a week. Honestly, I miss blogging here! Other endeavors have been swallowing my time as of late, but I feel I learned some valuable lessons which I hope to share here.

First off, I welcome all the new readers that have started following this blog in the past month or so! I am glad you find my ramblings at the least entertaining, and hopefully, thought provoking. Since April, I have increased by almost 100 RSS readers! That is exciting to me. Thank you!

A good majority of the emails I receive on a day to day basis are regarding my experience with promoting using Twitter. Since that is the case, I am going to link to my three part series in this post, and they will be permanently linked on the sidebar.

    I tweet quite a bit, but have not had the effect you are enjoying.
    I think maybe I try to do too much at once. I twitter as well as Pownce, and now Plurk!
    I think I should focus on Tweeting with my Twhirl for a while.
    I’d be interested in a gues post or trade postings. What are your thoughts?
    Give me a topic, or of course I can create one! :)

    Hey Strong One,

    Have you considered changing your Twitter pic? The half-naked man might make people think you are a porn site, which you are not of course :-)
