		<description>Scott:

great ideas. I am a little overwhelmed by ALL the tips and suggestions available to "blogger newbies". I follow you on Twitter. I have no idea what I am doing on that site. Are there any "quick" and to the point tutorials?</description>

<description>You can be at any level to guest blog. Ben Cook, former author of the Blogging Experiment started asking to guest blog on larger blogs really early on. And they let him for two reasons:

1. He was a good writer.
2. What blogger wouldn't love another person adding quality content to their site for free?

You are a skilled writer from what I can see, if you have a proposal for a guest post, you should submit it to blogs with larger RSS feeds. If you can get a post on one of them, you're readers will sky rocket. Once they do, so does your ability to earn income.

<description>Another great post, Scot, thank you!

Am working on tips 1, 2, 4 (love twitter) and 5, but think I need to work on them a while before I think about tip 3 ...

Although not at that level yet, I think guest blogging is a fab idea. And another example of why I so enjoy blogging and other social networking. The community aspect, the sharing of ideas and information, of support and encouragement ... the possibilities are very exciting!

So, thank you for sharing!

:o)

<description>Great traffic building strategies. It is better to focus a few of them and get really good at it than to go all out in doing all those because you will burn yourself out.

<description>Very good tips! As you mentioned, posting a comment only when you can contribute to the discussion is important. Also, the "no follow -do follow" subject is really interesting. If you post on my blog, your link will be followed as I have removed the no follow tag.
